Red & White Christmas Mantel

Something Red & White.  Time to start sharing all the Christmas decorating going on in the home! As you can see, we went with a red and white Scandinavian decorating theme this year. Red and white, white and red, no matter how you pair the two they work great together.

We made up our mantel by using our cricut machine to cut out festive red and white stockings and snowflakes. We spray painted and added "snow" to branches. Made our own birch tree bark candle holders {from scrap book paper} and tree stumps as well to hold our red and white trees we found at Target.

We added a red berry garland, a yarn pom pom garland and a cute little Scandinavia candle holder.

We fell madly in love with these trees. We wish we could take credit for making them! Love having a fall birthday and receiving gift cards because they come in handy for buying new Christmas decorations!

The tree bark tree stumps are cans covered in scrap book paper.

We found the cute little Nordic bowl last year at a thrift store and love the way it works here.

Perfect little bowl for holding a few extra mantel candles.

Took our red pitcher from the kitchen and made it the snowy branch holder.

To make our snowy branches we used some tree branches we spray painted white and then used spray adhesive and fake craft snow sprinkled on for a chilly frosty look.

Love, love, love these birch bark candle holders. All we used were cans and scrap book paper, white candles and some berries.

These cute little Christmas folk have been with us for awhile. They too work perfectly with this years theme.

Our Christmas stockings were dressed up a bit after being cut with a few red pom poms.
We simply attached the stockings to the berry garland through the bow loop on the stocking. We hope we have inspired you in some small way with our mantel in your Christmas decorating!
