Have you "Fallen" for pumpkin?! Fall is the time for everything pumpkin and we are happy to indulge! Aside for the health benefits of eating pumpkin, it just taste good! So versatile and happy to accomdate.
Since we have "Fallen" for pumpkin, we would like to share with you our healthy Pumpkin Apple Spice Smoothie recipe with you.
Recipe for Pumpkin Apple Spice Smoothie
1 cup non-dairy milk {almond milk, rice milk, coconut milk, etc}
1/2 cup organic soy yogurt {plain or vanilla}
1/2 cup natural unsweetened applesauce
1/2 t. pure vanilla extract
3-4 tablespoons Pumpkin puree
Pumpkin pie spice added to taste
Agave nectar added to taste
ice {optional}
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend. Check for sweetness and spice adjustments and serve.
This will help in the morning sending the little ones off to school with something nutritious in their bellies!
Or as an afternoon/after school healthy snack.
And as you can see, it really is good! Be inspired, get healthy, get creative!
